I was totally set on getting a MSI Neo2 Platinum for the 3500+ winnie Im going to order. Then a friend of mine told me that he's heard a lot of people with miscellaneous complaints. I havn't seen these complaints, and everyone so far has been telling me its a good mobo. He however, told me its just the best 939 on the market so far, that doesn't mean its a great motherboard. He told me DFI is coming out with an nForce 3 mobo in a month.... I can't finish building this pc for about a month anyway.... What do you guys think? Im posting in this area of the forum because I want all your expert opinions! Is the Neo2 board not that great? Will the future DFI board be a better investment? Also, what are these complaints about the Neo2 Platinum? I think I recall seeing in someone's siggy here that they hate this mobo. Im counting on getting an earfull from him, lol. I'm also including a poll.

Its too soon to say what the DFI board will be like, but currently the MSI is the best 939 board available. People have had problems setting up the rig, things just not going the way they're supposed to. But most of the time a lot of people have had the same problems and if you just use google you'll have no troubles.

Personally I do not trust MSI and I would not buy it but it seems they have best AGP + s939 board so far. DFI is my #1 brand of choice :D

Thanks for your input everyone. Keep posting! However, please keep in mind everyone, that I can't finish this system for a month, so waiting to buy a different motherboard is not a problem at all for me. Not in the least.
