Well guys I'm going 939/pci pretty soon here and basically doing a full sys upgrade. The parts is pretty much finalized, but I'm open to suggestions. Two questions though, has anyhere tried or has seen a X-Connect with an SLI rig, I couldn't find a review where the PSU was really pushed hard with an absolute power hog sys so I'm not sure how it'll handle 2x 6800gts (that's why I'm considering the OCZ 420/520, think the OCZ 420 is enough for it?) and does anyone here know the spacing between the cards on the NF4 boards once you put them in as I'm trying to figure out if there is room to put silencers on both of them. Now here's the parts list, remember I'm always open to suggestions from you guys :).

Thermalright XP-90 w/ 92mm vantec tornado (already have)
DFI NF4 Ultra-D (doing the mod mentioned at anandtech.com for it so I can run SLI for a lot cheaper, I know Nvidia won't be happy about them doing that, but I don't think DFI will redo all their curreent ultras just to please nvidia)
Athlon 64 3200+ (3000+ 9x multi is too low, because I'm hoping to reach 2.7ghz and you need luck to get 300+ with Gskill LE, luck which I do not have :()
2x512 Gskill LE (pray to whomever you worship so that I can get DDR600+ @ 2.5-3-3-7 please :D)
BFG/EVGA 6800GT wtih silencers possibly(buying one then adding another later)
Ultra X-Connect 500W or OCZ PowerStream 420/520 (again I ask is the 420 enough for an OCd SLI rig?)

thanks guys!

I know the Ultra X Connect PSU is "flashy" and modular but I would choose substance over either of those things and get a solid PSU. The Fortron 530 is probably one of the most talked about here at xtremesystems but I have never tried it. I have tried other FSP supplies though and have never had an issue. I would also say that the OCZ are slightly questionable. I don't think you can go wrong with Enermax, Antec, PCP&C (if you can afford it), or FSP.

OCZ is making some of the best PSU's around right now. Their lines are rock solid and you have to love those adjustable pots. The only company out there that can top these guys right now is PCP&C.

Antec PSUs are sort of 2 year old right now. Haven't tried the Neo Power but I haven't heard anything good about it either.
