I bought this psu about a couple weeks ago, and i'm not too impressed with it.
yea it looks very nice, all the cables are sleeved, and it is modular, but i'm very unimpressed by my 12V rail. My 5V rail is rock solid, staying at 5.03-5.05 with multimeter. But my 12V rail is not good, it at 11.75-11.85.
I had told veryproudofya a little while back that the 12V rail was good, but i had just measure it when i was in the bios at stock settings, but know that i'm at the specs in my sig, it just isn't cutting it right now. The few others with this board hasn't said anything aboout the cpu voltage fluctuating, but with mine it is undervolting by about the margin that my 12V rail is undervolting, and is fluctuating pretty bad. I see 1.37-1.41 using cpu-z and everest. This is totally unacceptabel.
I just opened up the psu to look for pots, and there were none, I probably wouldn't be starting this thread if i had found pots, because i suspect that if i turned up my 12V rail, all these problems would be gone. I'm trying to get my cpu to run stable at 285x9 and the cpu voltage is just fluctuating too much to complete consecutive runs of super pi 1m.
So if you guys are looking for a modular psu and want to do a little overclocking, then i would suggest not to use this.
