Guys i currently have the 865 AS8 by asus and i'm literally about to finish my cascade on Monday. I've seen hipro's mod on the AS8 and i'm not sure if i wanna undertake that. I feel as if i could do it, but i'd really rather not fool with it. I've also seen Fugger's OC on that 875P-T with what i thought he said "non-modded" mobo.
I'll be using:
560J
Truepower 550w & OCZ 600w
mushkin bh5
OCZ DDR Booster
SHould i scrap my AS8 and go with the DFI LANPARTY 875P-T or not?

You just can't beat the 875P chipset right now. I am going with this board and will be running a new 3.4EE LGA775 chip in it with VapoChill LS cooling. I hope it will be a screamer.

Hmmm......I thought the exact same thing......BUT I found out that IF you do it , then they are EQUAL.......Same bandwidth - same performance..... ;) :)

I like my "J" series. It does 4.2ghz stable on air. :toast: :toast:

No, you should test both. Its a toss of the coin unless you were gonna use it full time then I would go for DFI.
