Hey Guys,
I have heard that the temparature readingsfor the Abit AV8 motherboards are inaccurate.
I have a venus 12 fan and heatsink on my amd athlon 64 3200+ winchester processor and with the fan at around 2500rpm; I get temparatures between 31-34 degrees and case temps of around 26 - 28 degrees.
Do you know if these tempratures are read tobe too high or too low?

Thanks in advance :)
Alec

Hard to say.
Having the Neo2, I'm getting load temps between 47-51°, with WC.
On the Gigabyte k8ns Ultra, temps were around 35°, full load.

So which is correct? :D

It depends on the BIOS. If you are refering to Abit AV8, then BIOS version 15 gives the best temperature readings. At 26- 28C for case temp, 31-34 is low an deceiving in my opinion.
