Part of document is incorrect, ATI wont be portin the X800XL or X800 Standard PCIE to AGP, only X700 and X850.
But obviously, Nvidia has something to lose from simultaneous AGP launches of Mainstream(x700), High-end(x800) and Next Gen Graphics(X900) all within a 6-month timeframe while Nvidia's next step up the ladder arrives in 2006.

I did hear that manufactors may make agp versons of x800xl but anyway even if you bought an agp card, what will you do once you move to pci-e? This is why I am not getting another agp card, dont wanna be stuck with it when I make my move

ATi wont risk losing the AGP market altogether when it releases the X900 because it knows that sales of Intel's PCIE platform have been abysmal and its only going to increase the prospects for the Nv5x more so since NVs PCIE-to-AGP bridge is, truthfully, more masterful than ATIs.
As a matter of fact, if ATI happens to pull off AMR in 2005 at all, its going to be extremely lucky.
