I've got the AGP one on order but it has been on order since November from different sellers. Now I have taken Juliette's advice and Gainward.de are supposedly sending one directly. Apparently it is cash on delivery so that will give my wife a nice surprise, she'll be running around looking for German DEM's down the back of the sofa :D

I'd be interested to know the difference between AGP and PCie in 03 nature with same clocks and driver.

Well if mine arrives I'd be interested in comparing 3dmark2001, 03 and 05 say at 500/1000 ( or similar ) . I have an FX, but if you run at 260x10 and I run at 236x11 then it might be quite compariable for determining PCie v AGP performance, obviously mostly in 03 nature and 05.

Hope your's is a good overclocker considering the ditance it is going down south !

I could but I'm trying to "guess" how much bandwidth I have to take of to compensate my Fx-55 extra 512KB cache, so I guessed 236x11 ...

I heard they got rid of 50 customer care people a while ago, sounds like moral is low there. Lukas has been dealing with me as well, hasn;t managed to give me details on shipping yet but it apparently is on the way. Cheap price though so if it turns up cannot complain.

I just hope it is not DOA and I have to RMA, I can see that being a very painful experience.

The things we do to get 1.6ns memory and a rather daft name :D

I better get 27k points in 3dmark with this or else I will be GLH ( Giving them Living Hell ).

Well the card did 600/1300 on vr-zone (pencil mod) so it's deemed to be good. I just cannot imagine RMA ;)

That would mean me and perhaps a lawyer going over to germany an d pissing the hell out of them :D

Well, 27K is pretty optimistic, I'm going for water + Vmod. My goal is 25K. If i get a PCB layout diagram, it would be interesting to know whether there is the possibility of adding an external power source :confused: ;)

Mine will be the AGP model so the pencl trick will be difficult as the PCB is different and I have not got the electrical knowledge to work out which resister to do. Instead I normally use the ISL datasheets but this time ISL are getting pretty secretive on them and you have to email them and " only select customers" will get the info, presumably the video card manufacturers. Wonder why they have changed ? I sent them an email anyhow.

Even the cooling looks tricky if you do not want to do stock on the AGP card as it is smaller than the PCI-e and has the heatsink for the AGP bridge in the way. Trying to fit RAM sinks, gpu sinks and bridge chip on there might mean the old junior hacksaw will have to come out again.

This card is going to be a love / hate relationship I can tell.

Id have to pay 16% taxes if they ship it from somewhere else which would make a total of 250€ ;/ They dont have much info on their page too :/

Ohh thats good news :D I emailed Lukas about it, but he didnt reply yet. I wasnt sure if they ship from germany cos the page is in english and shipping costs 12€ which is kinda twice the price you would expect it to be within Germany :/ I will give this card a go then and hope that it doesnt crash as often as my Asus6oogt ;/

Edit:ok, UPS could be the reason why shipping is 12€ :)

I hope this card isn't DOA. With the current passive relationship between Gainward's Shop and the customers it could be living hell :rolleyes:

On the other hand, it save me some €70 so I shouldn't complain too much :)
