Got myself a 3.2c SL6WG - damn nice cpu ;) I´m currently at 3850mhz 1:1 in my Aopen XC Cube EZ65 with i865 mobo.
I can get a screenie at 256x16 = 3935mhz and am so eager to reach the magic 4ghz in this cube!
My biggest problem is the limitations of vcore and vdimm at the mobo. Max vcore is 1,575v and max vdimm is 2,775v - not so much, but again it´s only a 220w PSU :p:
The ram is Geil UltraX TCCD, the cooling is the new Zalman CNPS7700 with 120mm - it´s a tight fit

Any help in reaching the last 150mhz would be nice!! Any one know so mods for the mobo ?

Better cooling on the cpu maybe? :)
What sort of temperatures are you getting now with that Zalman cooler at full load?
Also check out your psu rails with a multimeter, if they are within the 3.3, 5 and 12 range at full load then the psu should be ok, just dont' add more devices on it :P:

is the ram holding you back? did you try 5/4? check if you have the intersil voltage regulator.

hi there.
Yeah checked the rails and 12v linie drops to around 11,7v so not so good! I dont really know about temps cause MBM doesnt support the mobo so the only temp reading i have is from bios and SilentTek II (aopen temp/voltage utility), bios says 32c and Silentek say the same in idle at 3850mhz 1:1 cas 2,5-3-3-6 i´m currently running a SuperPi 32M as i type this with the above settings (and a 120mm Papst high-output fan hooked up)

The max bench stable i can get is 246x16= 3935mhz Sandra is ok at this speed but superpi 1m freezes at loop8.

As stated earlier on i have no extra voltage options in bios and my bios is ver. R 1.20 the latest so i guess i just have to settle with 3850mhz

aopen power!!! have the ey65 and my cpu ist loving it!!!
little question. how can you run the ram in 1:1. with my P4a its always 3:4.

what makes me wondering is, how this big monster-cooler fits into the case. befor i dont even thought the smaller zalmnn could fit!

for better tweaking you could use i865-tweaker. runs fine on the board (is the same like mine!)

Hi there - yeah nice little Aopen cubes
The divider im using is called 2.0 and that equal 1:1 (currently at 480ddr - 240fsb 1:1)

Thanks for the head up on i865 tweaker, i´ll look into that ;)

I had serious doubt about the cooler myself so firt i got the smaller 7000b-CU but return it immidiately and got the bigger 7700CU after a bit of measuring :D

will post pics later

theres enough volts for the ram but might wanna look to mod powersupply or get a shuttle 250w

have thought about it but there is no way that shuttle psu is gonna fit in there!
