Which screw is better? Teeth or no teeth?

As far as computer cases go, what type of screw is best? Those with teeth on the underside, or those without? Im guessing that its supposed to help lock the screw into place. Does it work, or keep it from vibrating loose, or what? Is there a different kind of screw thats better?
