I think I got something wrong here. Is the +3.3V rail on a PSU for an AMD 64 CPU, or is it the +12V?? If it is the +12V, then that means over half the system is riding on the +12V rail... geeze. If its not the +3.3V rail, then whats that one for? :confused: grrr... thought I had this figured out already.

+3.3 is usually for system memory, sometimes northbridge/southbridge/agp/etc.. if even that.
CPU's usually are powered by +12v now, though there used to be some boards which used +5v. Not very common anymore.
