850w peak 950w
6 sata
8 molex
1 floppy
2 pci-e
4 12v rails (drives, cpu, pci-e 1, pci-e 2)
1 80mm temp controlled fan.
standard atx psu, but noted it is longer, how much isnt stated.

i dont like seperate 12v lines, MaxPC didnt say the amperage, but i dont like it too much. i guess on a normal pc system it may work fine, but if overclocked it may get the rails out of spec, but if you wanted to up the voltages, youd have 4 rails to mod, and i guess theres only 1 5v line and 1 3.3 line. so those would all be shared too i guess? id rather ahve seperate lines on all voltages, but wouldnt more voltage lines running cause more interfrence?

I know the psu was talked about, but i thought id make this thread just to let everyone know this release for this psu is getting very close, since its in MaxPC maybe they will review it next month.

Looks nice, I don't see a point in 4 12v rails at all though. I never really saw a point in 2 12v rails. as long as it has the same amperage as the 2 combined does it really make a difference?

I mean, I always looked at it like this, say you have 2 12v rails, each with 18amps, what if one is just used up, all 18amps, yet the other is fine, at least with one they'll both be shared so you wouldn't run into this problem. Maybe I'm wrong, but just how I see it.

Yeah, one strong rail is better (And more expensive to produce) than 4 weak ones.
