Ok picked up this unit does -40c..
guy tells me to use Prestone-DeIcer Windshield washer fluid and some Heet.

Problem is..In Califorina I can't find Prestone-DeIcer...soooooooooooo

What do I use in this system..Pure AntiFreeze will stop the temps from getting to their lowest point.

Anyone have any suggestion on what I should Use?..Aprox Ratio..etc

Thanks everyone..I have been looking everywhere for a answer to this question.

I'd run methanol alchohol mixed with a little bit of antifreeze to prevent corrosion. You could also use isopropynol (rubbing alcohol). Flamability is a concern, but as long as you take the nessacary precautions its no reason not to use alcohol.

anit freeze isn't good at those low temps. if you use only an antifreeze and watermixture, it will form chuncks of ice and become like a slushy after some time

methanol is really toxic, so you should have a closed tank to prevent it from evaporating in your room ;)

I use a mix of antifreeze rated to -35°C and isopropyl alcohol, at -40°C there's no ice :)

It doesn't make you high, it makes you drunk like ethanol. Its also a lethal poison, so take care with it.

I used around 15 percent anti and the rest Methanol..-38.4 Or so stable on the chiller playing Cs..Processor temps no idea

The only area that the meth evap could come out from is sealed and thats where I put my temp probe in thru the T-Line.

Thanks for the feedback and help

I use methanol in my new chiller @ -41ºC.
I think methanol goes near -90ºC without freeze.

its too thick to pump though even if it doesnt "freeze". Has anyone tried dynaline? I know it was metioned and chilly1 may have tried it.
