I think that I am giving up watercooling and my ghetto cheiftec 601 and am looking to use an aircooled setup. In that regard, I am trying to decide between several cases, the mountainmods twice7, the stacker, the lian-li v1200 and the lian-li v2000. They all seem to be good cases and I dont really care about the cost differences between them but I'm not sure which one to get. I would appreciate any input from you guys on the above-listed cases or any others that I should be considering.
Thanks

my experience with the LLv1000 is that it's terrible for aircooling. on paper it's design sounds like it'd be good for directing airflow, in practice, it's terrible. my temps were horrible.

Really? Thanks for the honest answer. I dont want to sacrifice performance but it is pretty.

What about the Antec P160, looks very nice and has had many favourable reviews.

i'm going with mountain mods myself (though i'm getting the twice7's big brother). I should get the case on monday. The guys @ MM are great, they even refunded some of my shipping costs (to be exact, over 50% of what they origenally charged) because i was apparently charged too much. Talk about grade A service :).
I'll let you know about the UFO when i get it though :)

By buddy just picked up a UFO and he loves it. I am having a hard time parting with that much case at the moment. In the end, it is probably the best option.
Got a p160 right now with my watercooling rig.
I guess it would make a awesome air cooled case but it's a little small for watercooling which is why im upgrading to a bigger case ( pc75 lian li )
The mountain mod's are awesome too but look's/size come into it. i dont really want something that ugly or big in my room dunno about you :P.
cm stacker is nice a big and you could mod the case for even better air cooling.
Something you could do also with a p160 is cut a hole in the top and stick a couple of 120's pulling air out ( quiet fans ) a 120 around the cpu socket area in the side panel blowing over the cpu. and then the std intake/outake already in the case, tho id make sure the fans are quiet.

the case is beautiful. the bad case temps don't really affect me that much as i'm running vapoLS & watercooling on gfx. i might drill a blowhole the next time i take the case apart to put in a new mobo.

I really think I just want a nice looking case with good air-cooling. The TJ-03 looks promising. I would buy the stacker in a second if it didnt have plastic on the front and say stacker

I have a Antec p160 that im going to fit watercooling in soon. im going to mod a triple 120mm radiator into the top without moving the psu..althouh there will be no fan on the last 120mm mount of the radiator which will be a bit useless to put as there will be a 2mm gap between the two.

if you dont like the CM stacker you should go with the CM Cavalier. They are decent sized cases that look very good IMO. Im going to order this as my next case for air cooling....

I just got a thermaltake shark and I really like it. Needs a bit of opening up the front 120mm fan but after that its a great case.

I take it the shark looks nice in person? I have been thinking about that case. Is the mobo tray slideable?

the board tray slides right a tad and lifts right out. Look great and has a real modern art sort of scuplpted aluminum look. The hard drives going in diffrent realy looks nice and neat and give a much cleaner look. Easy to hide all the wiring and things. I have a very cheap camrea so you cant see the lighting but this gives an idea. I just got it and am adding the water cooling & 172 watt pelt for the vid card today. The front is very nice I wish I had a good pic of it. You can find them but they realy dont do it justice.
