I made the order... am so broke now, but it should last me another 2 years or so esp after the price of 800 MHZ P4's go down and my credit card cools off, should be throwing in a 3.4 gig in about a year and another raptor for a raid. Damn I hope the raptors are'nt too loud :-|. I got my old set up so quiet I can actually think when it's on.
Any body see any problems with the setup? I have a P4 2.8B, TT Pure power 480 watt butterfly PS , in a Cheiftec case, with a Push/Pull TT Silenttower with a Segate 8meg 120 gig for storage, a Plexwriter and a DVD drive. I will try and push it to 3.2 gig aircooled at a min. (ran it at 3.0 as it was) and will get 4+gig when the 3.4 goes in.
This is the new stuff. I think I'll wait for PCI-X to settle down a bit and get it's footing.
