First, my system
AN50r
A64 3000+
512mb HX3200 bh5
9800Pro 128mb
Antec truepower 430w
cpu/gpu watercooling

I turn my psu off at night because the lights on the mobo annoy me. So in the morning I turn it back on and turn on my comp. Everything starts up fine for a couple seconds, then everything shuts off. If I push the power button again, everything works perfectly. If I pull the power to my 9800pro, and then plug the molex back in a couple seconds after I turn the system on, it won't shut down that first time.
This first time power on shut down happens whenever I turn off the psu. If I just shut down the comp but leave the psu on it will restart fine.
Any ideas?

Well, I could do that... But I'd really like to figure out what the problem is.

if your overclocking you system quite hard sometimes ya can have issues with cold boots, i do on my infinity ultra. Do you get non boot issues when your computers not overclocked as hard?

and did the issue just pop into exsistance or did it start when you last up upgraded your computer or something?
