questions on DFI ut lan party

Hi I have some problem with my DFI UT...the first is that i unable the Cpu thermal throttling from bios the PC don't start :eek: why?It's normal?
the only way it's reset the bios...another thing...it's normal that from bios i can't overvolt cpu over 1,55volts?The "Cpu VID special control" function...how work?I have see that it's possible to set from 104%to 136%...it's for overvolt cpu?

The CPU Throttling is a bug in the BOIS, you cant change it without your PC not booting up, this issue may have been fixed in their latest BIOS release.

Yes the board can volt over 1.55
you set the original voltage at whatever you want and then set the percentage.


ex. 1.55v AND 110% = 1.55 x 1.1 = 1.705v
ex. 1.5v AND 136% = 1.5 x 1.36 = 2.04v

This mobo has the worst temperature sensor I've ever seen too. And I can't rma the mobo cause newegg won't take it back, and DFI gives me crap about it when I email them asking, they tell me to rma it to newegg, I tell them I can't and they ignore me then on. Their site hides the rma form or w/e you gotta do :(
