i've been wanting to make a side fan on my Chieftec Dragon case. is there any special kind of hole saw and drill bit that someone could recommend to me so i can be sure i don't crack my acrylic window from useing the wrong kind of holesaw/drill bit.
thx

maybe use a dremel for the guide hole then a metal holesaw (the thick heavy ones, not the multisize ones that flex and bend) VERY carefully and slowly.

try to get hold of a peice of scrap from somewhere first to test with maybe..

i used a hole saw on mine but i ran it in reverse cuz the teeth would have cracked and ripped up the window. just anchor the acrylic to a piece of plywood (screw it where the screw holes already are after removing the window from the case) then use a hole saw in reverse. make sure theres room to drill the screw holes for mounting the fan or use a silicone glue

thx, i've been wanting a side fan for awhile but didn't wanna buy another side. even if i mess it up, i have a reason to buy a new side panel then :D i think i'm going to try and find a piece to practice on so i don't mess it up or anything. right now my first step is to find a nice hole saw. thx for the advice :)
