has anyone tried using any of the mouse surfaces around for thier optical mice?

up untill now i've just been using the wooden table top which is just chipboard with some kinda surface on it, which isnt perfectly flat. It hasnt really been too much of a hinderance to my play, but now 3 of the teflon pads on my duel optical have fallen off so i atleast need to get some sicky back teflon sheets. While im at it i figer i may aswell pick up a new surface for my old trusty duel optical, any suggestions?

I'm using a Icemat with my MX510... Works flawlessly. Most "gaming" mousemats sold today work just fine with optical mice.
