Wich one is better? Wich one gets lower temps?

A Coolermaster Hyper 48 Heatsink with a vantec Tornado on it or a
Thermalright SLK 948u with Vantec Tornado on it.

The Coolermaster uses 4 heatpipes but uses not much copper fins.
The Thermalright has no heatpipes but uses many copper fins.
Also the Coolermaster heatsink is a bit heavier.

From personal experience with the Coolermaster Hyper 6, I would go with the Hyper 48.

Thermalright because heatpipes only work in a specific range of temperatures, a HS should use them to help an already effeciant design, not base the whole design around them.

Then why are all the new Thermalright's based on the heatpipe design? and seem to be very successful.
