hi :)
i got a 9800pro and i want to play around a little bit with my 111w 12v tec.
specs ->
electrical power: 180 Watt
: 111 Watt
Imax: 15 Ampere
Umax: 12 Volt
and this gpu block and i dont know if it can handle that pelt.

well you'd have to figure out if it can physically hold a pelt (I doubt it.) Heatwise it should be fine, but you're gonna have a helluva time getting a cold plate on that. Just find a maze4-1...

should i isolate the core like that ?

yea just put dielectric grease around the core, thermal paste on the core, and neoprene around the whole thing, like in the pic.

How big is the bottom of the blok? LxW ?
and how big is the TEC?

go to an autoparts store and get the right stuff dielectric grease about $4 for a tube that will last you for years...

I also use dielectric grease but I was woundering why I could not just fill with artic alumina ceramic thermal compund as well?
