So, I just got my Vantec Nexus 201, plugged a fan in to test it, and at low the controller emits an extremely annoying buzzing noise. I looked around, and some people say theirs doesn't, some people say ALL PWM controllers will do this. Seems like a pretty big range of opinion out there.
What product would you all suggest? It needs to have at least 4 channels, and fit into a 5.25" bay as my heater core will be blocking access to my 3.5" bays.
I was going to buy the Zalman, but it only supports 7 watts per channel, and the Nexus claim 18 watts. Though 7 may have been enough, I thought I was playing it safe...I just can't live with this noise.

I have the Zalman ZM MFC-1, works great...
I have 4 80mm fans plugged into it, the other flick switch is for the cathode...

That Sunbeam one looks like it would be well suited for my needs and blend well with my case. You're sure that there's NO buzzing sound? Is your hearing normal after running Tornados? :p

Very interesting implimentation, Deel.
I just ordered it and came back here to post that I did and saw your post too. I feel very reassured that this will be a better purchase. :)
However, if it buzzes too, I'll have to blame you guys. ;)
