I am about to buy a TTGI Plug N Power 550Watt Modular PSU...

I have heard nothing but great things about these PSU's and I have heard TTGI/SuperFlower make their PSU's with rock solic rails...

I cant decide between the TTGI Plug N Power 550Watt or 600Watt... I have the money so what do you guys suggest... I would buy the 600Watt without thinking twice, the only problem is that it has 4 80mm's on it instead of the 1 14cm fan on the 550Watt... Does anybody own a PSU with 4 80's on it, is it loud?

And does anyone own this particular PSU...?

If so, post everything possible about it.. ;)

Thanks guys, later...

P.S. Will I notice I huge difference between 550 or 600? I will be having a 6800GT, 120GB Seagate HDD, 4 CCFL's, 1 DVD-ROM, 1 DVD-Burner... So... to give you a reference... :D

my superflower has 4 fans, it's loud on it's highest setting, but not if you turn it down, but if i have ALL my fans on high then this is the least noticable, check the 12v lines and i'd get the one with the higher line, probably the 600w

Okay... I just like the 14cm fan... I have a SF PSU with one now, very quiet... moves tons of air though...

I am still debating... Later, thanks for the reply... Anyone else have anything to say about these PSU's...?

Does anyone suggest a better modular PSU to get... I was thinking getting an Ultra... But I have read reviews about stiff cables which wouldnt be a huge problem... and I have heard that the 12V rail is shaky and others are a little bad... So I dont know...

Can anyone suggest one that would be the best bang for my buck?
Thanks

Yea, I dont like the colors... And my parents are budgeting me... Which sucks, because I got somewhere around 1,700 bucks to spend on whatever I want, money from my grandma, she wrote a check and said buy computer stuff... but my parents wont let me... If I were to spend whatever I wanted I would buy one of these suckers:

lol... Maybe I will get an Ultra X-Connect... I heard on the new ones with the UV window that the cables arnt so stiff... and I dont have that much stuff to plug in... I have read great reviews on these, just that the 12V is a little shaky under EXTREME conditions... like 8 HDDs and a 6800Ultra and under prime95 and doom3 trial benchmark... lol... But they are supposed to rock solid and they look neat as hell...

Anyone own an ultra x-connect...? how do they do?

lol... Maybe I will get an Ultra X-Connect...

I'd get the TTGI Super Flower over the Ultra-X. You should really read this PS Sticky on Hardforums (http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=792566) before you go any further.

I dont know... That thread sounds kinda... wierd...

Everyone who buys Ultras have told me they rock... I own a 350W SF/TTGI, its alright... Rails drop a little because of my system and the fact its only 350Watts...

I think I might go with the Ultra... lol... sorry to go against you... I dont know why I am, If you would have asked me like say, 5 days or before, ago... I would have said something along these lines, " Screw you TTGI will smash any PSU into the ground and then eat the leftovers for desert... " lol... But now for some reason I wanna get an Ultra, its beauty is taking me over... Uggrhhh...

I just switched to an Ultra X-Connect Ran CS:S for a few hours w/ all 3 multimeters on the rails.... Stayed alittle above spec, and I burned the computer in for 48 hours....

You bought the TTGI Plug N Power Modular?

Which one, 450, 550, or 600?

And why not trust Ulta, I freackin love the way the look... But looks are decieving... lol...
Its like a ferrari with a Pinto engine in it? huh? lol

I own a SF 350Watt right now... I wish TTGI and SF would make their modular come in the different colors... Thatd rock...

If you get the 600Watt one tell me how loud it is... Cause I have speakers on most of the time, and I dont mind super loud stuff but now that i think about it.... quiet would be nice, especially since I wanna grab a waterchiller system here soon...

Anyways, get back to me, thanks a bunch...
