For you wich is the best service pack for win 2000 for bench 3DMark2k1 with A64???

Either number 2 or 4. I'm not totally sure wich one is best but i'm leaning towards SP2.
From everything i've read SP2 is the one however with this a64 i haven't beaten any of my XP SP2 scores with 2000/SP2 yet.
Don't spend too much time on it if you aren't seeing noticble improvments as i've built 4 fresh 2000 OS's without any luck using every trick/drive in the book with 9800p. GL to ya :cheers:
/EDIT/ I'll mention my luck with SP2 on 2000 was great with Athlon XP's.

i have the SP4 installer version, i must search for a sp2 version or first version+sp2 or i can delete sp4???

Found exactly the same thing with XP SP1 and my FX53... Couldn't duplicate the scores or even better them with 2K...
Maybe time to get a hold of 2K3 as apparently it is even better than 2K was for 3DMarking?

win2k3 only good for pi hehe
i use win2k sp4 for AMD64 3700+ and my 34k 3d2k1 score in sig :)

I did some benching not too long ago, and no matter what I tried, I couldn't get the the 2K install close to my XP SP1 with the FX53/9800Pro. Same clocks, drivers, etc.

maybe FX53/55 or s939 cpus are exception ?

sp shouldnt matter but besides that, you need sp4 to use ati's latest cats for 3dmark

Have you guys been able to install DX8.1 on 2k3? I use 2k3 EE 24/7 with DX9.0c, when installed 2k3 has DX8.1, but it isn't compatible with 3dMark01, and you can't install an other DX8.1 so you haveto go DX9, any1 who have solved this?
I hate 2k so I would be glad if someone know how to fix this!
