Ok, so here's the deal. My birthday is in 27 days, and I would like to get a cell phone for my birthday. I definately want a flip phone, but I don't know which one or which carrier to go with. I live north of Atlanta, Georgia, so keep that in mind.
What phone would be the best for the money, but at the same time be totally pimp, and with what service provider? Keep in mind that deals to get the phone cheap are a definate bonus, because I'll be asking for some expensive stuff and I'm trying to save my parent's money on this for possibly a new video card. :p
Also, please include a good place to buy the phone, whether it be a Cingular store or an online cell phone store.

I dont know... I use Nextel right now... Well its on my family's plan... My phone was only 15 dollars... lol... It aint a flip-phone but it does the job... Anyways, Nextel has good plans, you can order online or find a Nextel store near you...
The walkie-talkie on them is very nice... If you want your phone to be PIMP, I suggest going with BoostMobile...
They are a partner of Nextel, and I think Nextel owns them...
They use the same walkie-talkie service as Nextel... Its great, I use it more than regular calling... You have unlimited walkie-talkie, or at least I do with my plan...
Anyways, I saw an add in a magazine for a cheap Boost phone... Heres the description, yes I will type it all up for you... ;)
Where you at?
I dont know, lost... maybe? Sorry! back to the description... lol
Boost Mobile Pay-As-You-Go. No Contracts, No Bills, No Hassles.
The Motorola i95cL is jam-packed with cool features like Boost2WAY, our long range walkie-talkie feature, Large Color Screen Display, Java Games, Polyphonic Ringtons, Text Messaging, Boost Wireless Web, Hands-free Speakerphone, Voice Mail, Vibracall Alert, 250 Entry Phonebook and T9 predictive text entry, there's no extra charges to roam or call long distance*
For more info, check out boostmobile.com (http://www.boostmobile.com)
For Dealer inquires, call Boost Mobile at 1-949-789-4884
And yea, that phone is a flip-phone... I hope that helps you a little...
If you dont decide to go with Nextel(Boost) then I suggest Cricket or Cingular... I dont know what offers good coverage in Georgia but here in NC, southern part of NC, coverage is great... alittle fuzzy areas sometimes... But Nextel covers great parts of the states... In florida I can talk to people in California, and in California I talked to people in NC... Walkie-Talkie, but Im sure the phone would have done just as great... Hope you find a good phone... that fits you... If you wanna go all out and really impress your friends with your nerdiness, lol... And show them who the real computer tech is... Get a blackberry with nextel service... lol... its a PDA and Phone... Dad's got one... Its cool, mini-keyboard and everything...

Links not working for me either, it says the session has timed out. Which phone is it, just tell us. I'm happy with my Moto V505, it's a lot better than my 721.
