i am going to make a small waterchiller to cool my water of my watercooled pc.
just like a beercooler

but i've got some few questions to some people.
witch pumps can handle sutch temp?
should i make a tube in tube Hx?
wat is the best mixture for sutch job?
someone with experience about that can always give me some advise ;)
Well the first thing is get rid of the thermostat and see how cold that tub will get. Next thing is do you plan on changing the evaporator? or are you leaving that thing the way it is? As for the pump I currently have not heard of a pump that will handle these temps for under $100. I believe that the danners hold up ok though (i have on for y chiller but that project fell through) if you are not using alky. If you to plan on changing the evap then a tube in tube hx could be plausable.
this unit is more like example of what it would look like.
but smaller then, as small as possible.
about that evap? yes i saw some here at xtreme sys.
about the pump? i have fishtank pump

this is my modded pump :p
maybe use another one, because saw that same pump somewhere(cracked, yeah it was -42 but it cracked:p)
So are you goign to change the evap or not?
we have some progress.
this is not hot news but i'll post it anyway.
found a good compressor about a month ago.
the 2 tubes below are there for oilcooling :)

In Denmark, we have these 2 guys, that makes these custom made waterchiller's on demand($$$) and they make they build a big spiral thingy to put down in a nice bucket of water.. Maybe you would like to see some pictures for inspiration, if anything needs translation post it here, or PM me :)
