Ok so yeah ive got this really expensive Nvidia Quadro4 980 xgl, but yeah its for servers which my computer happens to be a dual xeon (2.0x2) but yeah it absolutely sucks for gaming is there anyway i can OC or Vmod this thing to get atleast any more power out of it for gaming cuz right now its terrible. It will run like CS:S fine and CS but HL2 it drags and i mean bad. Yes i know i will probably have to purchase a new vid card but before i spend money on my new project system i was just wondering if i could muster anymore power out of this piece before i bought a new one. i think the clocks are like 350/700? something like that i may be wrong oh well just wondering if i could get this expensive piece of trash workin decent on games.... :(

What pcb does it use the old ti4600 design? also these cards drivers are ebasied to do cad and 3d work not games your bets bet would be to driver hack the card to a reg g3, g4 or whatever the card is basied from.

If you see here these are cards based off the nv40 and r420 cores but they suck in doom3 becasue the cores are reprogramed to do other things differently.
Im sure there is some hack for your card to a reg. gaming card.

Quadro and FireGL are just a bios flash mostly. The performance is the same between them and their retail "gaming" counterparts mostly.
Wildcat etc are true professional autocad/workstation cards and were never designed for gaming from the beginning.
