I'm on a dfi nf3 mobo and the case i have has a built in lcd for temp readouts and i'm wondering just how i should go about attaching the thermal probe to the chip. I've done it on a socket A chip but they have alot more room on the back side of the chip and room between pins to run the wires through. I don't think i can run this one the same way and want to know if there is an easy way to do it.

depending on the size of the probe, you can use a touch of epoxy to glue it to the side of the IHS.

If the sensor is small enough, you could place it against the side of the Heatspreader. Not the most accurate location by any means, but getting more accurate than that would require alot of ingenuity.
