Hey guys, it's my first time posting here. Hopefully I'm in the correct section. Anyway, my Intel Pentium 4 Prescott 3.4 GHz is running at about 50C (Yeah... Not too good...), this is while I have a 120mm fan in the front for intake, an 80mm fan in the side for exhaust, and another 80mm fan in the back for exhaust. Oh and the power supply's fan.

Obviously, I really want to cool this down! I was thinking a new HSF would be the way to go, since I'm using the retail one. I was thinking about getting this HSF: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-128-003&depa=0

Do you guys think that it's a good one? You guys are the experts here, not me. You guys are my gods :)

If you know of a better one, by all means, please suggest it.

Thanks!

im very pleased with my Zalman 7700 You can find it here (http://xoxide.com/zalman-7700-cu-cpu-cooler.html) Its keeps my temps very low, im only running a Northwood but it still runs i little hot with a light oc (3.0Ghz to 3.45GHz). Temps are under control now and the best thing is, that fat fan on there doesnt run at high all the time its thermally controlled, hope i helped...

That gigabyte one is awful. It sort of looks like it has all of the specs to be great, but for some reason it doesn't cool well and makes alot of noise. There is another one like it that uses external fans that is supposed to be pretty good though if you really are set on something that looks like that.

The best P4C HS is probably the SP94.
