Recently i read that NF3-250 is giving headaches while OC if a SATA HDD is connected to the SATA1/2 ports on the mobo.
and without knowing so, i connected my HDD to the SATA1 port (reasonable no?).
Now i want to start OC, so i tried swapping the connector to SATA3 (above the AGP slot).
Unfortunately after windows login, constantly, everytime, i get a blue screen and immediate reboot...

swapping back to SATA1, everything is fine...

Any chance i must Format and Reinstall windows??
Thanks!

you need to install drivers for nf3 sata, as you're running off ports not run by nf3 chipset right? with the right drivers which you should be able to install from cd it should be fine.

if not you shouldn't need to format, just to a repair install, though i've found windows installation proggie doesn't like to find current windows install on sata drives always.(well on any none native ide/sata port). the install drivers before swapping "should" work fine though.
