I wanted to ask if it affects the overclocking result if i put better cooling on the memory. my problem is that i can clock my 6800gt to 1.2ghz mem but it gets really hot and locks after about 30sec so if i put better cooling on the mem would i be able to get the thing stable or does the better cooling only help the core clocks ?

if u get better cooling, raise the Voltage going to the memory on the card and you will get much higher clocks.... but otherwise, better cooling does generally help memory chips to overclock!

ok i´ll give it a try putting the comp on the balcony with -5° perhaps that helps a little bit :)
