Drop in price on the Athlon 64s anytime soon?

i don't see this happening until about feb/march but that is purely speclative and I have no evidence to support this.

As far as i understood, there will be a temporary 20% drop on OPTERON prices February 20th. If this drop includes A64 and FX i dont know, the article was not exactly clear on this point.

Anyhows, i couldnt wait the extra 2 months to save €25 off a €130 CPU :) Considering the performance i think it was probably the best buy i have ever made :)

I don't think that is going to happen soon. There isn't anything new coming soon and the actual cpus are selling like crazy, Intel and AMD want to make some cash for a while...
