after some surfing i know the swiftech is a good block for waterchilling
do you guys agree with me or do you advise another block?
thx
i'm pretty sure i'm going to buy the 6002 block for my chiller, my maze4 isn't going to cut it with the lucite top.
unless someone tells me otherwise, in which case i will be 40$$ richer! :)

IMO, I think the Maze3 copper top with 1/2" brass fittings would be easier to insulate. Here's a link to CoolerCases UK (http://www.coolercases.co.uk/danger_den_mod.htm). ;)

what about the storm g4 or the new stormg5 in silver from little river. I heard it was kicking butt.
well they told me they recommend the maze 4 with a brass top for temps around -20~-30C.
the brass top isn't that expensive. and it would be cheaper than selling my maze 4 and getting a 6002 swifty.

Are either the Swiftech or the DangerDen (with copper top) any better than the other, or is it just a matter of preference?

the difference wont be noticible with chilled water ...

I would teste the slitedge from becooling.
sound a nice chiller block
eh, i'll run my chiller not hooked up for a day and see if the lucite cracks. if it cracks it's not like i'd miss it anyways.
