I have a Fortron 530w currently running to power a AMD 2600+ Mobile @ 2.65Ghz on air. However, I'm getting a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum and a 3500+ Winchester for Christmas, and I'm getting everything ready in preperation for overclocking it to insane speeds right when I get it (TCCD RAM, PSU mod, NB fan, etc...).

Anyway, my question is, how do I go about modding my Fortron 530w PSU? I know I have to mod the rails by turning the pots, which supposidly look like little plastic screws, but I need some more info than just that before I risk screwing up my PSU.

1) How much can I clock each rail to before I risk blowing my PSU?
2) What are the side effects of raising the rails?
3) Which rail will benifit me the most?
4) How will increasing the rails benifit me, and by how much?
5) What sort of tool should I use to turn the pots with?

Please reply A.S.A.P, because I'm in the overclocking mood and I feel like doing it right now. :D

Thanks!

1.) 12.5, 5.5, and 3.6
2.) other hardware gets more volts such as your hard drive or ur agp.
3.) the rail that will benefit u the most will depend on the mods u have done to your board or what you plan on doing
4.) again this depends on what your doing, for me it helped me stabilize my rails.
5.) I used a metal screw driver, but a plastic or wooden screw driver is prefered since theres less chance of you shorting something. Also when turning the pots be aware that there is glue on the pots to prevent them from moving, you must turn pretty hard the first time to break through it, but do it in a controlled manner and be careful of how much you turn it(the pots are extremely sensitive i turned mine 12v to 13v b4 i knew it and had to quickly change it back)
