Reducing the voltage on a 3.3 wire

I want to try to run a 3.3 line direct to the vdimm on a mobo but OVP kicks in above 3.2 so is there a way to limit the voltage on just the 3.3 wire I am running to the vdimm? Thanks!

u can use a 25w rheostat, maybe a 25 or 50 ohm one

theyre not cheap tho
