I have always wanted to start a thread where we can show off our uptime on our rigs... Example... I Seriously can't remember the last time I rebooted my dual Xeon rig...

Let's decide on a program that can list the uptime... and lets start posting screen shots... I'll update this first post with the top 5 highest uptimes.

If you want to go for some serious respect, post some major uptime from a highly OCed rig running D2OL 24/7 ;)

That brings up another point... If you don't run D2OL on the rig then don't bring it up... I want to see who has the commitment and who has the sickness! :D

So we need an easy way to check windows uptime…

Motherboard monitor shows uptime I believe.

Use uptime.exe (http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/nts/downloads/management/uptime/default.asp). Just stick it in your C:\Windows\System32 folder. After that, just open the command prompt (start->run->cmd) and type uptime.

In windows 2003 and Xp just type systeminfo at the command prompt. If not double click the network adaptor and look at the time there.

Funny thing is that rig is still going... unfortunetly WebTemp get's sent a bullet to stop once it's version is deemed too old. :( That rig is due for a WebTemp, AVG, and D2OL upgrade. ;)

I use a proggy called Statbar, to see my uptime, memory usage, cpu load and lots of other stuff.

Probly about 16 hours or so...which is nothing compared to you guys...Still seem to do pretty good. I'm trying to remember to the computer on before I head out to school. Then I'd be doing...~15hours a day...mmmm...anyway, no screen shot just an estimate.

Check out uptime-project.net I believe. They have some pretty long uptimes going on there, it's a pretty cool site. My personal best is about 31 days with windows xp. However right now I am at a little over 16 days, and yes, running ddol the entire time. Currently on christmas break from college, so my desktop doesn't exactly get a lot of use. :p: Basically it sits there and runs ddol.

A friend of mine had 51 and 75 days up on his gentoo system, but unfortunately the university power sucks and flickered, restarting everything, hehe. Sucked for him!

If you have sandra installed it shows uptime under the windows information icon.

Xeons have only been up 1day lol. (lan party)

I'll have to check my rig at work, it never gets turned off unless we lose power.

my d2ol rigs are all in my bedroom, if its warm outside then they have to go off when i go to bed otherwise the room is too hot to sleep in even with the window wide open :( when its cold out its alright and they stay on. i have a P4 rig downstairs that has never been rebooted since i built it and got all the software installed :) all my PC's run on a dedicated ring of sockets that have back up power supplied by two rack mount UPS's that are in with the central heating gear and fues boxes out in the shed so they never loose power even if we have a power outage, the lighting at the pc's and all the network / phone gear run from them aswell, all that dosnt is the printers ( was told not to plug laser printers into a UPS) so yeh, if it wasnt for problems with heat and noise when im trying to sleep then they would probably never be down except VERY rareley when i can afford to upgrade.

This one of my A64's running 64bit Gentooo linux. It's currently running FAD :)

GentooAMD64 root # uptime
18:56:40 up 198 days, 15:11, 4 users, load average: 1.00, 1.00, 1.00
GentooAMD64 root #

I only reboot if I put a new kernel in and I guess it's probably ready to put the 2.6.10 kernel in...

GentooAMD64 root # cat /proc/version
