I have a 1hp compressor, and I have access to most refridgerants because my dad and his friend(who owns an hvac business I think) have access to this. So what are my best options as far as refridgerants, and the other thing a pretty simple question which I could prob. find on my own, what should the cap tube length and size be? I have another thread (about my block) but this question dosn't really relate (as it's about the block :stick: ) so I didn't wanna ask it there. Thanks. I'm kinda in a hurry, leaving after I post this, or else I would have done some searching first.

Go for R404a/R507. Or you could test R402a.
yeah try r402a thats sweet.
cap tube 0.031" or 0.028"
and ya going to need basic tools to get ya started.
map gas torch or better
pipe cutters
pliers
vacuum pump.
gauges

I got all the tools, or my dad should have what I don't anyways. And how long of a cap tube for 0.031" or 0.028" and does it matter which or just get w/e's available/ the cheapest.
packet i get is 3.3m of 0.031", i usually cut it to about 3m or shorter cutting 150mm off each tune until im happy. can d0 200-300mm cuts just depends how much you want to tube it.
start about same length with 0.028" what you end up with will be different to other ppl.
