A reg 6800 pipelines & oc question

hi i just bought a evga 6800 and i was wondering if i can unlock the pipelines, i currently only have 12 pipelines. would somebody tell me how i would be able to overclock this and unlock the pipelines... thank you ahead of time!

to unlock the pipes use riva tuner
google a bit and you should find a review how to do it,
i did not do it myself cause i have a gt

i wish rivatuner came with a read me.... does anyone know how to use it to unlock pipelines and to oc?

Open RivaTuner, click customize where it says '256-bit NV40' etc, open up lower-level system settings, click on the NVStrap tab, at the bottom you want to check 'allow enabling hardware masked unit', you have to either click install or reinstall, after that you want to customize. When you get into there, there should be 1 vertex unit thats masked and disabled and 1 pixel unit thats masked and disabled. You want to enable both of them, after you do, all you gotta do is reboot. After you open up the pipelines and vertex renderer, do some benchmarks and make sure there are no artifacts. If there are artifacts, then that means that either the vertex renderer is defective, and/or the extra 4 pipelines. If there's no artifacts then you are good to go!

Remember pretty much all non GT/Ultra cards GPU are undervolted (1.1-1.2v instead of 1.3/1.4v for GT/Ultra), once fully unlocked the GPU may be showing glitches until you increase the GPU voltage via a modded bios but only if the pipelines are not defective.

And if there are Artefacts, how to disable the units ?
Same way only disaable or can I throw the Card into the next river ?
