Get a blank floppy...make sure it has nothing on it and is formatted. Then, extract the files from the memtest floppy-iso zip into a folder on your hard drive. Then simply run the install.bat file by double clicking it, make sure you have the floppy in the floppy drive. It should be very straight forward from there. In order to run it, just restart your computer with the disk in the drive and it'll run automatically.

And if you don't have a floppy, download the bootable Cd image, and burn it with your favorite software.

Run test 5 overnight. That's all I do, then I go to windows and run prime95 for 24H. Memtest is good for checking out weather you will trash your windows installation from memory errors, but it doesn't hit the CPU hard enough to be a total stability tester.

You can still currupt your hard drive after the install. If your only option to do your overclocking is in the bios, not using clockgen or A64 tweaker, then running memtest86 test 5 for a few passes will give you some piece of mind that it shouldn't currupt your OS. Once your data is currupt the drive will have to be formated, remember to always keep a backup of the important stuff before you go tinkering to much.

I have no Floppy and no CD Writer :( Can i use memtest by another way ??
Thx

As far as I know, you can't. So go to newegg and go spend $5 on a floppy. ;)
