i didnt know what to show, so ran sandra and CPU-Z
no point doing any benchies cos my graphics card broke and running a Ti 200 atm :(
should be getting a Gainward 6800XT GS "GLH" soon tho :D
the ram in my system is generic crap PC3200 doing 202.3mhz (roughly) at 4:5
is this good for newbie?

the voltage in CPU-Z is reading wrong cos i set 1.775Vcore in bios, maybe fluctuations? i dont understand most of the stuff about voltage and such, only more volts = more mhz upto a certain point.
i deffo got the OC bug but not got OC kinda ca$h lol

pretty good OC for that chip on air. Almost as fastas my 3.0c on air.

thats max i can get with that chip, sandra wont do the CPU thing with any higher Mhz and crashes, i'll try and see if i can run 3dmark2k1 on this nasty Ti200 and post scores, not a clean install or anything, and all generic crap parts, so dont expect anything impressive lol

well heres the 3DMark2K1 screenie, no surprises, it didnt even get past 9000 :(
i could do with that Gainward 6800GT about now...

not exactly cutting edge performance, but will tide me over till i get some new hardware :D

after some tweaking, i managed to improve the 3dmark01 score to break 10,000 3D marks.
this lil old GeForce 3 Ti 200 is very fun to play with, stock speeds are a meagre 175Mhz Core and 400Mhz Memory (no DDR on this card) and on stock cooling with no Vmods or anything extreme like that, i managed to overclock it to 240/490 stable, imagine watercooled or vapo? could take some Ti200 records :p:
the card doesn't even have ramsinks, and the heatsink and fan doesn't even look big enough to cool a northbridge.
heres the screenie:

i'll see if i can push for 10,500 tomorrow night

thats why its dead then at those speeds lol
this is the 64mb version.
i might buy a few cheapo cards like these to practice overclocking with, much better than expensive mistakes, maybe an MX440 next?
*edit* now theres an idea, ppl send me ur old obsolete cards for me to overclock the $hit out of them so i can learn stuff lol

Sh*t my rig can barely match that score...

The voltage indicated in cpu-z is likely more acurate that the bios setting.

Very nice oc ... you can ran superpi 1m ?

i'll run it again and post screenies.

WOW you are running a very high volatge on that cpu
iam running a cpuz (reading) volatge of 1,576 for running my 3,0c at 3,7 24/z setup..

just lowered the voltage a tad (1.75 in BIOS) and managed a 38sec Super PI 1M, is that good for this chip? heres screenie:

swapping over to an GeForce 4 MX460 tonight, see what kind of 2k1 scores i can get with that.

wonder what kind of speeds this chip would do on a cascade?
if someone with a cascade would lend me a chip, i would happily send this to them to try out, might get a nice clock
oh btw, the motherboard im using in all this is an ASUS P4P 800 Deluxe,
for that Super PI i dropped my ram timings to 2.5-3-3-5
darent go any lower with this cheap stuff

well the GeForce 3 Ti200 pisses all over the GeForce 4 MX440.
the latter card only managed a mere 8800 3D Marks, with 340mhz Core and 600Mhz Memory, thats an overclock of 40mhz on the core and 60mhz on the memory, the card couldn't even run nature.
so i guess i'll look for a different budget card to practice overclocking with
heres the 3D Mark 2k1 screenie:
