I'm just getting going again after taking a long break from 3dmark. Just playing around I managed this:
http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=5035866
The 2400 comes out and the 2700 goes in tomorrow night. I'll have the pelt on the 9700 Pro in a few more days. We'll see where we can get to on the AMD side of things:)
BTW, why do the new Tbred show up as"durons"? Sorry for the dumb question, but I've been away from 3Dmark for a while:)

Subzero temps can cause the "coldest" part of your proc, the L2 cache, to partially freeze and only half being effectivly used. That's why some LN2 cooled amd's tend to be recognized as durons (half the L2 cache) instead of pally's or tbreds. (correct me if i'm wrong)
... but you're not using LN2, so I don't know the answer. :)
Is that the highest you can go with the 2400+? Pretty dissapointing for a 226W watercooled pelt. :/
No go bring AMD back to the top! :toast:

Ummmm...no. Actually that was only my 3rd run with this new Radeon 9700 Pro that I just put in the rig. And I've yet to even run any tweaks at all yet. All the driver settings are still at default and the card isn't even overclocked yet. So I really don't find it disappointing at all.
SO tell me, are you "rich" bastard or "rude" bastard
FYI: the 2400+ will run 3DMark at 2480mhz...which I did 2 weeks back when I had my Ti 4600 and KD7 in there. But the 2700 comes tomorrow so I'm hardly bothering pushing anything around yet.
Relax....this thread is only to say "hey" to my old 3DMark team buddies from the old Ircontic days:)

mdzcpa,
Good to see you back benching:)
The reason it says Duron is that your useing a KX7, when you start benching on the KD7 it will go to "unknown cpu" :D

Thanks OPP...glad to be back:) I'm not going to topple any Intel records or anything, but I'm going to see if I can get some respectable AMD scores up there for the team.
Thanks for the info :D

Okay then....another silly question. Is there any easy way to pull up all the AMD cpu scores off the ORB? Or do you pull up the Athlon, Duron, XP lists seperately to see where you're at? I'm interested in running against the AMD guys:)

Best way to do it is to type in 0 to 2800 Mhz, you'll see a lot of Amd scores and it starts with AMD scores.
