3200+ winni
raptor hd(on sata port 3)
gskill mem pc3200/pc4400 tccd (some pqi mem on way an now maybe order some vx ) as u can see im desperate :x
i have bios ver 1.3
i am using the onbaord sata 3 port on my mobo
ok so now the bios
htt x3
cpu 9 x
htt frequency 200
dram (ive tried all settings and timing but none will boot 1t) jus get blllleeeeeeeeppppp and have to clear cmos
DRAM settinga = max 200 (1:1) 2t @ 2.5,3,3,7 @ 2.85 vdimm
then i use CLOCKGEN to OC the clocks too...
9x 250 htt = 2250 cpu speed with mem @ 2t 1:1 250 fsb 2.5,3,3,7
2250 is wot i can get stable from cpu is this coz i cant seem to raise my cpu volts above 1.45?
no matter wot i put the cpu volts to in bios, wen i open CLOCKGEN its says max cpu volts 1.45
current cpu volts 1.45 even tho i ve put volts to 1.55 or higher in bios y is this?
i jus cannot boot up using 1t is there a setting i forgot??
i jus spent £180 on gskill memory coz i thought my old mem was the problem but i still cant boot up 1t even with no ocing it jus bleeps an i must clear cmos.
i know this is me doing something wrong coz i know this mem is tccd and should b ok 1t.
PLZ help me! what am i doing wrong ?

Use coreCenter or CPU Z to check your vcore.
Try 6x275htt 1:1. If it doesn't boot then you've got a serious system problem.

vcore shows 1.45 volts as i said this is the maximum i can run.
If i change vcore in bios clockgen still shows 1.45 (cpu-z also) no matter wot i change the vcore to.
wot could possible be stoping me booting 1T??

Try another bios, if it not works try the memory in another system, if it works rma the mobo.

Try bios 1.41/1.51 beta as its mainly optimized for TCCD chips.
if that doesnt work its time to rma your board. I had a problem with a Neo2 that it didnt boot at all with any bios version appart from using dimm 3
Now i got new Neo2 S/NK0410xxxxx chip - 0440A2 Taiwan, been great so far.
Edit:
Are you using dimms 1&2/3&4 to run dual channel?

i am using the green dimms on my mobo, 1 & 2 i think, the manual said use green dimms

Ahh i think thats where the problem is, basically you are running single channel as the green dimms are 1 and 3.
So make sure you have the modules in dimm 1 (green) and dimm 2 (purple), the manual is wrong, MSI has rectified this on their website. Dimm 1 is the closest to the CPU.

Anyone know if these are spec'd for 1T? Excaliber has them for sale but they aren't the egg about returns from what I hear. I am looking at these sticks but will not accept 2T. For that I'd stick with my BH5.

The top of the line GSKILL. The 275 (2.5-3-3-7) - 2 * 512 kit. Don't remember excaliber mentioning command rate.

Thanks. I know about mr. onepage. He'll probably see this. If not I'll PM.
It would just be easier for me to re-sell a cpu that wasnt up to snuff than sticks that can't do 1T. I always explain my luck with whatever I get rid of.
