View Full Version : R404 bottle, wrong connection :/

I bought a R404 bottle 2 months ago, but today i realized that the connection doesn´t fit to my manifold :(
Any ideas ?
Someone know where i can buy an adapter ?

Ask a plumbing store for a X OD male to X ID female adapter.
You could even bring in the bottle and hose and they will look for it for you if you are unsure of the sizes, as long as they are not too busy.

Your nearest refrigeration-shop will carry those adapters/connections.

in the fist pic see that little brass fitting on the bottle.
that is what you want i think or something similar.
once ya get it screw it onto bottle. attach gauges to bottle and turn gas on with gauges off.
screw fitting tight onto bottle until there is no gas leaking and ya set to phase change.

Looks like i found a hose for this connection.
Shouldn´t be a problem to build an adapter out of it.
ok no probslem.

I got a plastic one but you can get brass ones too found it on an old refrigerant bottle I should have some others kicking about where are you located
