Hi
i got a 3000+ NC whitch is capable of 2400mhz but my memory isn´t so i plan to buy other mem. My question is if i buy ddr600 memory and run it @ 300*8 for example would that be faster than 240*10 or would it be no difference?
Another thing is my current temp is about 40° with zalman if i change to wantercooling and lower the temps would i have the chance to clock further or is the temp difference too small ?

All this results are on standart vcore. How big is the chance to kill the cpu if i change to 1.6v for example ?

8x300 1:1 should be faster than 12x200 1:1 - but I am not sure how big the gain is. Some programs should benefit from it.

1.6v shouldn't kill the CPU - be it on air or not. About 1.7v is the limit with good air, IIRC:

300 x 8 is significantly faster than 12 x 200 - It would be around 2-3 second is benches like superpi :)
