3500 NC or 3200 WC?

Hey guys, I'm about to get a new chip and board, going up to 939 from my frankly weak 3000+ & 8KDA3J to Neo2 Plat and either of these cpus, what do you think would be the better choice?

I have a home made phase-change system that holds a bit lower than -30c on the chip, (-45c on the evap) so I guess the newcastle would be a pretty nice clocker under these conditions, but I'd be nice to get decent clocks with just air, as the system isnt exactly quiet.

The current outlook on winnes seem really quite hit and miss, but usualy 2.5 is the celing for 3200s in the hands of normal folk like me, do the 3500 NCs clock well will stock air? The phase system will get messed with to silence it if the clocks are sweet enough though.

My week 37 3500+ and week 41 3200+ both top out at 2.5 GHz. It's all luck of the draw... Good LUCK! :)

Just to add, I know with my luck that there will be no chance of using phase-change with the winchester, but there is a possibilty that in a couple of months when the new winchester revision is out that I could acciendtly fry the winne with static and RMA it for a new revioion which might like the cold.......argh......decisions..... :confused:

I was gonna say go with an NC because of your phase. Oh... and I have a plan that might work better for you as far as buying an A64 now and replacing it later. Hang around a bit and keep posting, you will have 100 by the time the new AMD's are out. Then you can sell it in the For Sale section, yes you will lose some money but you will save your soul. This forum is not too kind to dead beat RMA'ers. At the very least, no one will help you devise such a plan and prefer you keep it to yourself. Welcome to the forums though at any rate. :)

I apologize for that, I lurk a lot, and i've seen it done quite a lot (not on XS), I've always thought it was a complete rip, but my mentality was, if loads of others are doing it, why should I lose out? It'd take ages (RMA isnt that hot here in the Uk) and yes it is very moraly wrong, so i dont think i'l be doing that.

I'm thinking the 3500 NC is the better choice at the moment.

I'm in the UK, so as much as i'd love to be able to trade in the affluent US buy/sell forums, I cant.
