I have just purchased an AMD64 3200 Retail and a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum, which should be arriving tommorrow :)
But now iam wondering if my existing 512MB Corsair 3500XMS bh-5 , cas 2 ram will work ok in this board and processor setup?
Many thanks

I belive the correct way to get the bh-5 to work is to boot with one stick and flash to newer bios.It worked for me that way.
Then you will need more vdimm volts to overclock...(booster or volt mod).

exactly... some bh-5 i have have had REALLY hard time getting stable... 2.85v (2.8 REAL) is just not enough for 2x256MB Mushkin LvL II to run Prime95 stable at DDR400. also on my board even though i set 2.85v in BIOS it won't raise the voltage couple of the times.... i need to fire up CoreCenter and set it to 2.85v and then it works.
if you're thinking about some serious overclocks on the mems, either voltmod your board with easy 3.3vio=vdimm mod or get a OCZ DDR Booster... works like a charm, up to 4.1v although my Neo2 won't boot at 4.1v. i need to set it max to 3.8v and then it boots...
good luck!

It's the same setup as mine plus I have the booster.
Is that one stick of 512 or 2x256? I had a problem posting with 2x512 but not with 2x256. After putting in a newer bios 1.3b6 the problems were gone.
with 2x512 corsair 3500 BH-5 I can break 250 2-2-2 (my mushkin level2 did the same) and with 2x256 I reached 267 2-2-2. Too bad my winny can't go more than 2500mhz on air :(
