Yot it will not work the TCCD chips in that RAM will not achieve those latencies @ that speed. Many have try on this forum but the TCCD chips dont like ultra low latencies at high speeds.

OCZ 3700 Gold Rev3 they based on Hynix DT-D5 IC's chips not TCCDs.
No you wouldnt be able to run 2-2-2-x timings on any vdimm, the tightest they will go is 2.5-3-3-x

Too bad they don't clock any higher.

you might want voltmaster for low latencies but be ware, you need 3.3v of dangerous volts!

I don't think, the memory controller being burned because of high vdimm is a problem anymore, at least for some steppings/pr ratings it is not. I have run 3.5v on my RAM using overvolted 3.3v rail 24/7 for almost a week now, and I haven't seen the slightest of problems, and I don't think I will, ever. Not because of 3.5v and overvolted line.

There have been plenty of chances for the memory controller being burned during many of my OCs, but when things has gone bad, I ended up with a burned board instead. I am on my 3rd DFI board now, in only 2 months time or so(both previous ones got destroyed in low voltage settings around 2.8v both times). God, I love these mobos. Better dead mobo than dead CPU, or at least that is how I see it :D

To me, it is a myth that might have had something to it, but not anymore, so until someone can show evidence of the contrary or at least a pattern I'll regard it is a myth or problem with the first claws/sledgehammers(or whatever).

you seem to be the only one afraid of 3.3.. That's not all too high, and COUNTLESS people run that 24/7 with no problems.. I'd say at around 3.6 24/7 things may get a little hairy..
