Ok I am going to buy an OCZ Powerstream 520W PSU so I can adjust those rails which my DFI UT 250GB & mushie BH-6 will love... 3.8V on the 3.3v rail should give me up to 3.7vDIMM on the RAM, that is without ANY vmods, DDR boosters etc.
but will it damage my mobo or any other components? I am planning on running it @ this voltage all the time. Will it cause a catastrophic meltdown?
I have done this with my DFI 250gb + OCZ520W and it gave me 3.75v on the 3.3v, and 3.55v effectively in the BIOS. Highly unscientific reading on POS sensors from DFI mobo, however :D

so can you run this voltage all day long without problems? I asked OCZ tech support and they didn't recommend it

i think bowman said something about it... iirc he had the 3.3v rail at 3.8v wich resulted in the vio voltage going to high wich killed 3 of his a64 cpus...
but that was with a first generation 939 board, so i hope this problem is fixed in the later boards... i guess since i havent heard of dead a64s with a high 3.3v rail for months... ask other dfi 754 users, pretty much all of them run a bumped 3.3v rail i think  i just dont know how high...

I've heard that the mosfets can get very hot... Is it neccesary to cool them? I can chop up some heatsinks and stick them on with thermal adhesive
Always cool mosfets. Some air on them would do them good too.

3.6v 24/7 would be safe...
what you can do is lift up the mem mosfets and solder a 5v line to them so that they draw their power from the 5v line instead. i did this to my IC7-g it works great!

Hey, wait. I just orderd a dfi, well it came yesterday. My 3.3v rail is at 3.7 right now on my antec 480trueblue, does that mean I can have my vdimm up to 3.6 or is that only with the ozc psu?
edit: n/m, found out. Thats great, I thought I'd have to mod it, or get a ddr booster. Thats really good news  I don't gotta do anything :)

I don't know, I've had it up to 240 2-2-2-5 on my nf7-s at... hmm.. I think it was 3.4 maybe, and it wasn't stable, but that was because the proc. couldn't take it (11x240 locked barton). But I'm sure I can get it to 240 at least, havn't beenable to try any higher with it.
