Picked up a 1700+ Tbred for work the other day and decided to give it a shot on my AT7 at home.

I painted the last L3 bridge using a defogger repair kit and a jumper post as a paintbrush. If it wasn't unlocked before, it is now :D

I was hoping it would be a 2200+ or even a 2400+ rebadged, but alas it seems that it is barely capable of holding a candle to the 2200+.

But, for $75 it's not so bad

Welcome to Xtreme :)

I have the same chip and got it up to 2040MHz w/ mild watercooling. I think you've got some more headroom if your cooling is up to the task and you can give it enough voltage. Mine seems to like just as much voltage as my Palomino chip ;)

P.S. I didn't need to paint any bridges for mults up to 12.5......it came factory unlocked..i'd imagine u don't hafta either :D

What voltage are you putting through it? I would imagine you could get it higher than that, but nicely done so far:)

Its running 1.75 right now, but that is on air. Wish I had a watercooling setup hehe.

Bahh no wonder. What are temps like...If they're not too high bump that Vcore up would you, and see how far it goes :D.

I picked up a 1700+ tbred @ newegg, week 39 "9". Its running stable @ 1.85 ghz (185x10)@ 1.84 which is all the voltage I can get out of my modded KR7A-133r. Watercooled @ 38*C under load but crashes DF any higher. My temps are good but I can't get any more juice out of the Abit...........goldie

BTW: It is factory unlocked.:)
