Hello everyone. This is my first post on this forum... Yay!

Heres what I built:
P4 2.8GHz LGA775 + Stock cooler (201 x 14 = 2814)
DFI LanParty UT 915P-T12 Motherboard
512MB (2x256) Corsair TwinX PC3200 C2PT DDR Ram (6-3-3-2 @ 2.8v)
EVGA GeForce 6600 256MB PCIe Video Card (Core: 340 / Memory: 535)
160GB Samsung SATA Hard Drive
Ultra 500 Watt Power Supply (It has 25A on the +12v line. I am using a 20 -> 24 pin atx adapter to hook it up to my motherboard).
Antec SLK3700AMB Case with no side panels on, no rear fan, 120mm front fan, and dual uv lights added.
16x Liteon DVD-Rom Drive
Onboard audio
No cd burner (I'm saving up for a dvd burner) and no floppy drive (eww theyre yucky)

This system is basically running stock speeds currently aside from the overclocked video card and the 1MHz boost on FSB. Here are my results:

Temps
System: 33c
PWM: 34c
CPU: 30c

Benchmarks
Superpi 1M: 46s
3dmark 05 pro: 2020
Sisoft Sandra 2005 (guru3d.com edition): int: 4855 MB/s float: 4867 MB/s

Are those good scores?

the doesn't look too bad...lets see some more overclocking tho, that 3D mark score should go up....the RAM scores as well...your temps are good, but what are the load temps? so far it looks nice. just gotta keep pushing it...this makes me think about writing a Intel OC guide to go along with my A64 guide....

If it isnt at last 4k in 05, dont show it to us...Bu ha ha ha ha ha ha....Actually your rig is enough to fry mine (2.8ht + 9600XT). Though here's a know fact about the new 530s from Intel:

THEY CAN GO 3.7 WITHIN A BLINK OF AN EYE !!!!!

And I will practically guarantee that to you. I'm not kidding...Do that, flash your 6600 to a GT and you've got the makings of a 3.5K score AT LEAST !!

I checked it out...You cant flash it, but your 6600 should be able to go 550 clock and 575 mem VERY easily as I found scores here of a Galaxy 6600 Regular:

3dmark05 Scores:
6600___________________2029
6600 Overclocked________2705

And that's WITHOUT a CPU OC....So your card has loads of potential...It even started thrashing the GT in Farcry with AA on. (Hmmm...I think i might stop dreaming about the X700 Standard for a while :p: )

Here's the full article for proof:

Again, Congrats on your system !!

ahhh....I remember seeing this before, so thats who makes those...looks nice. So the PSU probly won't be holding you back...maybe a different cooler for the CPU....otherwise looks nice

I have read and re-read the reviews for all of those: THEY'RE ALL CRAP. Your best bet is to get the Zalman CNPS-7000B CU (All Copper) along with the ZM-CS1 socket kit for LGA775. It blows all of those away. AND, if you want to REALLY go extreme, then the XP-90 has a kit for the 775 as well, but VERY hard to find. You can get either the XP-90 or the Zalman from practically anywhere and the socket kits are wroth no more than $10 each.
