Hi there

Just got the mobo - no cpu yet but that's on its way. Just wanted people to know with the 775 adaptor from Thermalright, the XP-120 fits this mobo fine.

yes thay do fit i have one on now

its only 4c to 5c cooler than my stock at load
but my stock fan ran at 2700rpm and my enermax 120mm fan on my
sp-120 runs at 1997rpm nearly a 702 difrance in fan speed
so this is maybe why its not getting much cooler than before i might have to put a better rpm fan on but dont want to go to high as i like the low sound levels

@ all would 700rpm in fan diffrance make much diffrance how much c would you think it would go down to if i put in a fan that ran 2700rpm on the sp-120

stock ran at 50c to 68c fan at 2700rpm
sp-120 ran at 50c to 64c fan at 1997rpm

would changeing the fan to a 2700rpm mack much diffrance and if it did how much heat would i get less

Going from what you have to the Panaflo you ordered should give you at least 5c better than the temps you have under load.

Let us know how it goes!

hi all i tried fitting a 120mm case fan to the rear as my antec case lets me fit one that size its just the one that came with it and hardly pushes air but i thought i might as well try it out.

i tried the fan sucking air out got about 1c less, then i got the fan to push cool air in from the back and got a 2c to 3c cooler cpu the case temp just says the same strange .

when at load the heatsink is hot so it must be fited ok as it gets hot so the only thing i can think of is the enermax 120mm just dont cut it.

it supposed to push 93cfm which is bull as it says it go`s up to 2300rpm but i can only get mine to go as far as 1998rpm so its 300rpm under spec, all i can say is dont get these fans for the heatsink.

I might use this fan for the intake at the back as i have a panaflo 120mm on order its the 35db version 86cfm i think but can not find what the rpms are on this fan do`s anyone know

well i`ll lewt you know what happens woth the new fan when i get it also i am interested in the thunderblade 120mm fan you can adjust it from 1500rpm to 4500rpm so that might be tempting dont know

let you all know later thanks
